She Is Not Forgotten: Standing With Teenage Mothers in Uganda

A teenage mother is not a mistake.

She is not a failure.

She is not forgotten.

Behind every young mother is a story. Sometimes it is a story of pain, fear, rejection, poverty, or broken dreams. Sometimes it is a story of a girl who had to grow up too fast. Sometimes it is a story of someone carrying a child while still needing care, guidance, and love herself.

At Kweza Children’s Foundation Uganda, we believe every teenage mother deserves dignity, support, and a second chance to rise.

Our mission is Christ-centered. That means we do not look at a young mother through shame. We look at her through love, compassion, and purpose. We believe her life still matters. We believe her future can still be rebuilt. We believe God can restore hope where life has been difficult.

Many teenage mothers face challenges that are not easy to carry alone. Some need emotional support. Some need life skills. Some need mentorship. Some need spiritual encouragement. Some need help finding confidence again. Some need practical support so they can care for their children and still believe in their own future.

Kweza walks with them.

We want teenage mothers to know that they are seen, valued, and loved. We want them to understand that motherhood does not remove their purpose. Their dreams may have been delayed, but they are not destroyed.

Through mentorship, education support, skills training, spiritual guidance, and community care, Kweza helps teenage mothers begin again with strength and dignity.

When a teenage mother receives encouragement, her confidence begins to return.

When she receives skills, her independence begins to grow.

When she receives spiritual guidance, her heart begins to heal.

When she receives community support, she no longer feels alone.

This is the kind of transformation Kweza believes in.

We are not only supporting children. We are also supporting the young mothers who are raising them. When a teenage mother is strengthened, her child is also strengthened. When she is empowered, a family begins to rise. When she finds hope again, her child grows in a more hopeful environment.

That is why this work matters.

Kweza Children’s Foundation Uganda invites you to stand with teenage mothers. Your support can help provide mentorship, skills training, emotional care, spiritual guidance, and practical assistance to young mothers who need a fresh start.

You can give.

You can volunteer.

You can partner.

You can pray.

You can help remind a teenage mother that her life is still filled with value and purpose.

At Kweza, we believe no young mother should walk alone. With Christ-centered love and practical support, her story can become one of healing, courage, and transformation.

She is not forgotten.

She is loved.

She is seen.

She can rise again.
